Restorative Yoga with Alka

Restorative yoga is a deep active relaxation practice using the support of props to allow your mind and body to relax. It is a quiet, nourishing, and soothing practice that brings a myriad of benefits to lead a happier and healthier life. In restorative yoga we come into poses and stay in them fully supported for up to 20 minutes to retrain the brain and the body to learn how to consciously relax. Over time and practiced regularly, this can have a huge therapeutic impact on the physical, emotional, energetic and psychological level.

Beckoning Path

Beckoning Path (shown at top) is a mid-century architectural gem set on 27 lakefront acres in Armonk. Conceived in the 1960s, the structure features a spiky copper roof, towering timber frames, and sweeping glass walls that dissolve the boundary between inside and out.

It’s been lovingly transformed into a high‑performance private wellness retreat. The home now hosts a seamless blend of modern sustainability and contemplative design —all intended to elevate the senses and inspire inner calm.
