Anne is a high school educator and recently certified yoga instructor. Never particularly athletic, she gravitated towards yoga when she found herself looking for a form of exercise during her college years. Anne soon learned that yoga is about much more than the physical practice and grew to appreciate the opportunity to be truly present in moving meditation. After over a decade of practice, she sought out teacher training at Sage and the Flying Buddha and has been teaching consistently since she completed the program. Anne has always found immense value in the yoga community and strives to extend it’s benefits to all of those around her. She enjoys developing original themed classes, including practices that focus on the energy of the chakras or the current season and climate. Anne’s classes encourage students to take their practices off their mats and into the world.
